Join Life 88.5 at Zona Rosa to kick off the 2024 holiday season with the annual lighting ceremony featuring the historic holiday crowns and brand-new never before seen Grand Christmas tree!

The parade starts at 7:00 pm at 2nd and Dryden Streets and travel north to Main Street. See Santa, singing and treats available downtown after the parade so please plan to join the fun.

The finale to the Terrific Tuesday food collections is, November, 26 at Hy-Klas Foods in Hamilton from 7:00 am-10:00 am. All of the food collected will go to the Caldwell County Food Pantry.

The Holiday Lighting Celebration in Platte City is one of our favorite Christmas events. Some of this year’s activities include horse drawn carriage rides, snow face painting, petting zoo, meet the snow princess, children train rides, Photo Booth and so much more!

Bring your friends and family downtown to experience all the fun activities, great places to eat. There will be activities and special events every Saturday beginning with the “Lighting Ceremony” on November 30th. More details about the Lighting Ceremony are coming soon!

The 33rd Annual Christmas in the Park holiday event kicks off with the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Cornerstone Park. Make sure you spin the Life 88.5 birthday wheel and sign up to win Chiefs tickets!

The Richmond Chamber Christmas Celebration start at 5:00 pm where you can visit street vendors, spin the Life 88.5 birthday wheel, see the snow machine and visit the courthouse for crafts and to see Santa.

Holiday Magic on Broadway in Louisburg provides lots of free family fun! Then don’t miss the lighted parade at 6:00 pm.
