Just Be Held Lyrics

Hold it all together
Everybody needs you strong
But life hits you out of nowhere
And barely leaves you holding on

And when you’re tired of fighting
Chained by your control
There’s freedom in surrender
Lay it down and let it go

So when you’re on your knees and answers seem so far away
You’re not alone, stop holding on and just be held
Your world’s not falling apart, it’s falling into place
I’m on the throne, stop holding on and just be held
Just be held, just be held

If your eyes are on the storm
You’ll wonder if I love you still
But if your eyes are on the cross
You’ll know I always have and I always will

And not a tear is wasted
In time, you’ll understand
I’m painting beauty with the ashes
Your life is in My hands

Lift your hands, lift your eyes
In the storm is where you’ll find Me
And where you are, I’ll hold your heart
I’ll hold your heart
Come to Me, find your rest
In the arms of the God who won’t let go

One story about "Just Be Held"

  • Angelina says:

I have recently gone through a medical crisis. And this song has given me great courage I am only 13 and this song has impaacted me more than you could grasp. I was given the symptoms by God of what turned into a miracle. He let me puke blood in the middle of church. He then put me in the hands of the docs who could not figure out a thing. They then figured out from the blood that I had a severe Kidney condition that was extremely rare for how old I was. I had a kink in my uriter and they put a stent in, I went through many prodecures getting up to 11. Taking a ton of meds and other things like passing out over 100 times a day, losing my memory and the depression that no one could understand. I could even tell my mom thought I was faking it, but the Lord knows and thats all that matters. Dr. Bookie almost had me dead, if it were not for Dr. Roden I would be dead in 5 years. I have been encouaged by this song also through depression. I want to thank Casting crowns through that rough time. My mom would sing it all the time. And for the friend of my moms for sending her the lyrics.
