I joined FOX 4 in March of 2007 and now forecast for FOX 4 News from 4:30 – 9:00 am.  My passion for weather started at a young age while I was growing up in central Florida. In between the afternoon thunderstorms, I would often track every hurricane in the Atlantic Ocean on my own personal tracking map. Then I saw a waterspout in the Florida Keys…I was hooked!

Since moving to Kansas City, I have become involved with Girls on the Run, serving as a head coach since 2008, March of Dimes Bikers for Babies and the FOX 4 Love Fund. I also earned my Certified Broadcast Meteorologist seal in November 2007 from the American Meteorological Society. I also enjoy storm chasing and go out to chase severe weather any chance I can.

When I’m not in the FOX 4 Weather Center, I enjoy traveling, cooking, fishing, running (three marathons and counting!), spending time on a boat just about anywhere and playing or watching any sport.

My husband, Chris, and I, along with my two kids and two dogs are so happy to call this part of the country home.
