It is our mission to host a professional car show in our community that involves families, neighbors, old and new friends, for an exciting and eventful day. This outdoor event is family oriented, fun for all ages and free to the public, so they can enjoy all styles of cars. This car show is made possible by the many car collector enthusiasts in and around our wonderful community.

Family Day in the Park

All Day Event

Family Day at the Park is being sponsored by Lexington Missouri's Parks Department. Plan for a day filled with leisure or join as many activities as you desire. Bring a picnic blanket and cozy up on our lakeside picturesque grassy areas, enjoy a hot chocolate under a shelter, or bring your grill and/or a canopy and tailgate in the parking lot by the pool. Events include Nerf Gun Wars, Biggest Catch fishing competition, tug-a-war games, yard games throughout the park, on site beef grilling or smoking competition, pie contest, pie eating contest, chess and/or checkers games, open volleyball games, and possibly more. Awards will be presented for Biggest Catch, Grill Master, and Best Fruit Pie. Most events are free. Follow us on Facebook under Lexington Parks or on our website .

Masquerade Children's Gala

The Masquerade Children's Gala is an upscale event that will be held in the Museum at Prairie Fire, one of Overland Park’s most beautiful venues. The Gala will celebrate achievements and “unmask” the most overlooked group of children within the Kansas City metro community and throughout the United States. We will be celebrating 10.18 Strategy’s impact to more than 2,200 traumatized & at-risk children and fundraising for future impact. The leadership team & board of directors of 10.18 Strategy would like to invite you to this fun red carpet gala event. The festivities will include a fabulous catered meal by Coco Bolos, exciting keynote speaker, entertainment and fun surprises throughout the night. As a result, all funds raised will benefit the life-saving programs of 10.18 Strategy. This will be a legendary night for a vital cause!

Judgement House - "Overwhelmed"

Judgement House is a walk-through dramatic presentation that presents real life situations and how the decisions that we make impact our eternity. Individuals, families, and groups walk-through the seven scenes of the story - "Overwhelmed" - in a tour group with a guide. It takes approximately one hour to walk through the presentation. A new tour group starts every fifteen minutes.

Judgement House - "Overwhelmed"

Judgement House is a seven-scene walk-through drama that presents real-life stories in which people make choices which impact their eternity. The audience walks-through the drama in a tour group which is led by a guide. A new group begins their tour every fifteen minutes with the tour taking approximately one hour to complete. “OVERWHELMED” is the story of a mother and her two teenage children who are attempting to pick-up the pieces after the wife’s separation from her husband. Their rental home presents challenges and rebellious attitudes add to the stress on the family. Recreational drug use. A faulty water heater. A grandfather who shares his handyman skills and the hope of his faith. Circumstances converge in a devastating accident that cause the family to face their eternal fate. Reservations are strongly suggested and can be made by calling the office of First Baptist Church in Cameron at 816-632-7251.
