Corey’s Network (CNI) is a not for profit organization that runs 100% on volunteer help. We offer assistance and support for families of homicide victims. We provide a weekly workshop to help the families learn to navigate the process which includes what to expect from the investigation, trial, etc. In addition, we offer resources, referrals to services, and we help pay for funerals. Because funerals are so very expensive, we are always looking for ways to raise money to help.

Aramark has made an offer to us that if we can find volunteers to work the KC Royals concession stands during the 2019 season, CNI will receive the proceeds. The only requirements are that you attend an orientation where you will receive your food handler license at no charge to you, that you be at least 16 years of age, and that you sign up at least four days in advance for the game or games you would like to work.

Please give this prayerful consideration. A church group would be ideal–this is a very much needed and worthwhile cause AND it’s more fun with friends. Of course, individuals are also very welcome. You could do this only one time during the season, weekly, monthly, or whatever would work for you. For more information, please contact Jenny Donaldson at 816 804-1887 or at coreysvolunteers@gmail.com. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
