When a friend comes alongside you to lift you up, it not only changes you but those you encounter. Together we want to help equip police officers with surprise and delight opportunities when on duty and to be a blessing when responding to accidents, stranded motorists, or people in need of assistance.

You can be part of Cards for Cops by donating gift cards for gas, food and other necessities at any Life 88.5 event or by mailing gift cards to the Life 88.5 studio. The impact you can have might help change a life!

Is there any way you could come to Sibley/Buckner with any of your small town events? There is growth in God happening there, and lots of kids, like Snow Cone with a Cop or something similar. FBC Buckner would be a great place for your station.

    1. tjjackson says:

Cindy we’ll for sure keep Buckner in mind. We had a great time in Buckner last year at Festival in the Valley. We’ll take a peak at Sibley as well.

Can you please tell me where snow cone with a cop in Grain Valley, Mo August 1st will be located? Do you have the address please? I would like to drop off some gift cards that day for cards for cops. Thank you 🙏

    1. tjjackson says:

Philip the Snow Cone event in Grain Valley will happen in the park behind the Community Center. Here is the address for the Community Center
713 N. Main St. – Grain Valley, MO. Thanks for being willing to make a difference!

  • Michelle McKelvey says:

    Hi!
Is there a certain amount that you need? Are these given to the police to buy things they need to give away? Or do they give the cards directly to people?

This is such a wonderful thing you all are doing! And I love that you’re honoring our police!

I do have some gift cards just like you said on the radio that you keep waiting for a special occasion. But I also thought I could buy some specific ones if recommended.

    Blessings to all!
    Michelle

    1. tjjackson says:

Michelle the gift cards will be given to officers to bless individuals they interact with when responding to accidents, broken down vehicles or to just allow them to bless people. We don’t have a set amount, just taking whatever people are willing to give.

  • Carolyn says:

Was the gift card donations a success did you meet the goal

    1. tjjackson says:

Carolyn we had 558 gift cards given over the course of Cards for Cops…but God. The next day a retired firefighter named Kenny dropped off 258 gift cards to put the number at 816!
