For the first time in 31 years, The Salvation Army will not hold their annual Thanksgiving meal in-person in Kansas City because of COVID-19. On Thanksgiving Day, volunteers will instead deliver prepackaged meals to 480 families who previously signed up for help with their Thanksgiving meal. Whether you’re packaging meals to distribute to those in need, or painting a room at one of our community centers, there are countless ways for you to give back and offer the priceless gift of your time. There are opportunities to volunteer for individuals, families, schools, organizations and businesses.
