One out of every eight kids in Kansas City is food insecure, so summer can be a difficult time for many kids to have access to healthy food every day. There are many organizations and programs working to help correct that issue throughout the summer.

Our schools don’t just love their students during the school year, they care for them year round. Beginning May 26, all children 18 and under may pick up free meals at any of the following locations from 11:00 am-1:00 pm.
