In 2017, we also added paper goods to the package, which is an item that cannot be purchased with food stamps. Further, our 150+ volunteers are provided with gift vouchers to purchase specific gifts for each child in the household. In 2018, we are revitalizing our effort to ensure that we reach as many families and seniors in need of assistance as we can. It is important that our efforts to provide the basic needs for a happy holiday reach those who are most vulnerable. We anticipate an increase in applications this year and request your help to meet these needs: ·        Our goal is to raise $50,000 to meet the food needs of nearly 350 families and 125 senior citizens. ·        Donations are needed by November 20 to allow volunteers time to shop for approximately 800 children. Our program depends heavily on food drive donations through LPS and caring community partners like yourself! We strive to deliver 3 boxes FULL of a variety of canned and non-perishable foods.
