City Wide Easter Egg Hunt in KC

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

City Wide Easter Egg Hunt at National World War 1 Museum and Memorial, Saturday, March 24, on the South East Lawn from 10 am-12 noon. Bring the kids and Easter baskets to enjoy some family fun at this gathering of community at one of Downtown Kansas City’s most famous landmarks. All are welcome, even those who don’t have kids! We’ll have baskets of fun with petting zoo animals, cookie decorating, bounce houses, bubbles, temporary tattoos, games, crafts and many more fun family activities including an egg hunt and a special visit by the Easter Bunny! Hop on out to the Liberty Memorial to join in the fun!

Pack Easter baskets for children at Ronald McDonald House, Hope House, City Union Mission, and other service agencies in Kansas City! Join us on Sunday, March 25, at 11:15 a.m. in the Missions Building (4201 NE Lakewood Way). Families with children age 3 and up are encouraged to participate. Learn about stocks, bonds, mutual funds, dividends, interest, tax forms, and basic terminology. Learn differences between retirement, non-retirement, and college savings accounts. Dinner, snacks and drinks will be provided. Participants will also receive a copy of the workbook. Registration required prior to the workshop. GriefShare Meetings

February 7 through May 16 (except March 28, 2018) South Haven Baptist Church, 16800 Bel-Ray Boulevard, Belton, Missouri, will be offering a special, 13-week seminar/support group for people grieving the death of someone close. GriefShare is a nondenominational group and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. GriefShare videos contain interviews with leading authors, counselors, speakers, and pastors with years of expertise in grief recovery. Meetings are Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. You may join this group anytime during the thirteen weeks. For more information contact the church office at 816-322-0409.
