Hi! My Name is Emma! I’m 9 years old and I was just diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia and I need a bone marrow transplant.
I’m adopted , so my family isn’t a perfect match for my bone marrow.

Emma along with her family and friends want to invite you to join the National Bone Marrow Registry. Emma has been diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia, a rare disease that means her stem cells are damaged. She needs a stem cell transplant.

Emma loves gymnastics, soccer, swimming and having fun with friends and family. Her daily life has been
changed since her diagnosis as she is unable to continue with her sports and regular school life. She loves to be around people and prays to spend less time in the hospital.

Please consider joining the registry to potentially help Emma or someone else in need.

Are you between the ages of 18-55 and in good health? Register and swab the inside of your cheeks to see if your cells can save a life. There are currently more than 14,000 people with blood and bone conditions searching for donors. Unfortunately, less than half will find a compatible donor. You can help change those odds by registering.

Can’t make it? Make a gift or register online at DKMS.ORG.
